✨ Exciting News: We Can Now Ship Perfumes via FedEx!

We’re thrilled to announce that Planet Express can now ship perfumes internationally via FedEx to most destinations! If you’ve been waiting to forward your favorite fragrances, this update is for you.

Perfumes are classified as dangerous goods (DG) due to their alcohol content, but we’ve simplified the process to make perfume forwarding safe, compliant, and convenient.

🧴 What You Need to Know Before Shipping Perfume

Please ensure your shipment meets these important guidelines:

• Total Quantity: Package must contain less than 5 liters (5,000 ml) of perfume total.
  
• Packaging: Needs to be packed in a sturdy box with enough protective material to prevent breakage.
  
• Compliance Fee: A $15 Dangerous Goods fee applies per shipment.
  
• Declaration: Each perfume must be listed separately with its content volume on the customs declaration page.
  

Documentation: A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is required for each perfume, must be UN3082 under IATA classification, if the perfume is not under UN3082, we cannot ship them.

How to Properly Ship Perfumes via FedEx

Shipping perfumes requires careful handling and accurate documentation to comply with international regulations. Please follow the steps below to ensure your shipment is accepted and processed smoothly.

Step 1. Declare Each Perfume Separately

Each perfume must be listed individually on the Customs Declaration page with:

• The full product name (e.g., DIOR Sauvage Eau de Parfum)
• The content volume (e.g., 3.4 fl oz)

Step 2. Select the Correct Shipping Method

When submitting your mailout, make sure to choose FedEx Express or FedEx Priority.
These are the only available methods that support the shipment of perfumes. You can review the list of available shipping methods [here].

Step 3. Confirm Perfume Contents

During the mailout process, you’ll see the question:
“Does your package contain Perfumes?”
Select “Yes”.

A $15 Dangerous Goods Compliance Fee will automatically apply to process your shipment.

Step 4. Upload the Required Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

On the next page, please upload the correct Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for each type of perfume in your package.
This document allows our team to verify whether your perfumes are eligible for shipment.

If the SDS is missing or incomplete, your shipment cannot be processed.

Important note: If the MSDS does not match the item or UN classification is not UN3082. The mailout will be cancelled.
