“Please, be aware that if two or more packages arrive for you at the same time, Customs may combine them as one import for the calculation of duty.” (Source)
The standard GST rate is 15% in New Zealand.
Example: If you buy an iPhone from the US for $999 and you pay $50 for the shipping, you have to pay GST (15%) from the total costs ($999+50=$1049). This means the total costs would be 1049+0.15*(1049)=$1206.35.
